LetGirlsPlay - England's 'Biggest Ever Football Session'

After an incredible summer that saw England become UEFA Women's European Champions the momentous occasion and efforts of the team have now delivered a true long-lasting societal change. To celebrate International Women's Day 2023, The FA and Barclays set out to make the 'Biggest Ever Football Session' which saw over 285,000 girls training and playing football across the country. This blew away last years number of 90,000 which took part in the inaugural Biggest Ever Football Session!

As a school we set up a football area on the MUGA which gave the opportinity for the girls in every class to take part in some training drills and skills.

At lunch time we gave the oppourtunity to the whole school to take part on our playground and MUGA to join in and take part.
